In the event that you fail your first attempt at passing the InDesign CC examination, Adobe's retake policy is:

  • The candidates, who failed their exam in first attempt, cannot retake it more than three times in a 12 month (1 year) period. They need to wait for 12 months before attempting the fourth retake exam.
